In this training session, participants will learn how to turn business requirements into data science project. We'll cover gathering business requirements, defining problems from a data science perspective, choosing an algorithm, structuring datasets, and communicating insights through data visualization. Participants will receive a Jupyter notebook template and learn how to make progress when developing data science solutions for business problems.

Target audience

The training session is designed for junior to mid-level data scientists or analysts who have a working knowledge of Python programming language. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own data science projects or problems to work on during the training session.

From Jupyter Notebook to Production: A Hands-On Guide to Deploying Machine Learning Models

Description

During this training session, we will cover the fundamental steps of training machine learning models using Jupyter notebooks. We will then proceed to save the trained model and deploy it as a FastAPI service. To ensure a seamless deployment, we will encapsulate our FastAPI service inside a Docker container. We will cover the necessary steps for building a Docker image and deploying the containerized service locally.

By the end of the training, you will have a step-by-step template for deploying a model locally as a real-time inference endpoint that you can take with you.

Target audience

The training session is designed for mid-level data scientists or data engineers who have a working knowledge of Python programming. Participants are required to set up docker on their machine prior to the training session, you can do that by installing Docker Desktop here: https://www.docker.com/get-started/.
